Need a harder difficulty.
The missions don't get progressively harder, they're always a set difficulty based on the difficulty of the mission. The longer you play, the more upgrades you have, the easier the game gets.
I think it needs a "tutorial" easy actually run so you know how actually play the game.
I had no idea how to use the tractor beam.
No idea how to upgrade weapons.
Mods, and many more.
If you are losing over 75% of new players, you are not doing tutorial correctly.
(based this number or number of people completing ANY achievement)
Biggest one for this game i think is 16%.
Yeah the game is to easy tbh
On the other hand i also solo slooped all the way in sea of thieves - so it's just a matter of training.
Just get the shields first, put em on 2 facings, and you are pretty much immune to damage when you know how to dodge stuff.
after getting 10 alloys for the first weapon fire upgrade, you can just blast everything and collect even more stuff.
this game isn't hard... it's just a skill issue
Achievements were added when 1.0 released, so many people who owned the game in early access and haven't been back don't have achievements. As such the count is not representative of overall participation.
It is usually a problem with any game that adds achievement later in development.
Best example is Amnesia: The Dark Descent, a horror game that added achievements many years after its release. If you were to check the achievement stats for it, it would seem like the vast, vast majority of people who bought it never played it.
