That or some other some stage or phase of the game where you could 100% have people be able to AFK and not be putting your run in jeopardy. Maybe a post-mission screen before it drops you to the void? Anything would be nice.
thats why you cant pause, because the game is allays online.
i realy hope they implement it in some way or another as a respite,
At the moment, your best friend is the Void Jump. Not all Void Jumps can be interdicted - pay attention to the Stability indicator in the top of the screen and, if it's maintaining stable around a % and not decreasing for about 30s, you can assume it will be a safe voyage
It has a little more going on beneath the hood, but if you dont see the average stability of the tunnel (UI indicator) go down during the first 30s, it should be safe from then on
There are a few games I've played that are always online but the game will automatically pause/allow you to pause so long as you are alone in your lobby, I would suggest adding that as a feature, would be nice.
A pause that any player could trigger or break it. Or just the pilot, does not really matter, its a great QoL feature.
