100% repair ship back
so many mission I find whether with friends or players or not, that you cannot repair ship back to 100%. Maybe let repair ship back to 100% to prepare for another mission, or returning to dock for resupply. Somthing like that would be nice.
Thankyou

I agree fully. there should be a drop that like rebuilds the hull that you just place anywhere on the ship. I would be so for this.

Yea or maybe I would like to be immerse and like return to dry dock for military repair or retreat, trade at hubs and idk space talks XD with crew strategy.

Maybe Mobile Shipyards? that would work and it would have to depend on which of the current [2] ships you pull out. Could have some sort of self defense while fixing up your ship and could have a limit of how much fixes it does before it self destructs or something.

Would love that and something like that too

Another idea of how it could work:
Since we only have endless mode now and we need to do (or skip) some mission nodes on the map before it's boss time. How about instead of doing a mission where you have a chance to get some loot, you instead head to a repair station to use that jump to trade alloys (or some other resources that could be added) into ship health. And it could be expensive to do so. Perhaps only one or two chances to do that between each boss fight.

This would add a layer of strategy to the game: You'd have to think if it's better to get more loot and risk more damage OR use big chunk of your loot to repair the ship, but you won't be getting anything else on that jump.

Thats a nice idea too, hope the dev reads some of these ideas

I've been suggesting this since endless mode was announced. Another idea I had was special repair plates that can over time repair more of the hull than a basic repair plate.

I think I've heard that devs are not that keen on making the hull repairable to 100% but since there clearly is a demand for it and devs listen to our feedback, I'd like to think there's still a chance for that to happen :)

The previous response was that they thought it would make the game too easy if we could repair that much. I don't think that is the case, I think they just need to either make it very rare, or very expensive.

Yes, same. I've discussed this topic for a long time with my friends. We've agreed on giving us the option to repair, even if it's just 50% at a time or something, and either make it rare (For example 50% of hull after each bossfight) or very expensive (For example an item that costs something like 100 alloys). Much like you said.

yea I agree making like a 50% repair thresh hold is a good idea instead of slow diminishing its like slowly draining life away, not a very good preperation when facing epic boss fights
Ultadine Sep 10, 2024 @ 6:28pm
How about a module that slowly repairs the ship to full since every mission has a timer of some type.

Repair drones that orbit the ship and zap it with "repair lasers"
Razorbeam Sep 11, 2024 @ 10:37am
Knowing that somewhere along the run you could find a 50% repair would definitely make continuing feel less hopeless if you get smacked down to low hull
