If they can't implement a dedicated server, I hope they at least add an autosave (or a checkpoint prior to the last mission started).
Ya about same. I can get thru 1 session or maybe midway into a 2nd one. But I always drop due to a internet pause due to distance of lines. Then I gotta restart hosting my solo session, having lost any experience due to the crash.
The devs refusal to add offline play SUCKS!! I hope this gets addressed soon. As I REALLY REALLY like this game. But it is almost impossible to play "AT ALL" solo with us being forced to ALWAYS be online. I just wanna sit an play suck, suck at it or not. I just wanna try an play the game solo. As my friends only get on around once a week. That plus the CONSTANT AN CONSISTENT disconnect issues KILLS ALL FUN for this game!!
PLEASE add an offline Solo mode DEVS!!! Even if its no progression in multiplayer. Thats fine. We just wanna be able to play the game when, where, an how WE want too since you took our money for a product!
Hello everybody,
We have now added Broadband Internet Connection as a System Requirement in the Steam Store page for Void Crew. We had no ill-intention when not listing it, we just missed it.
Sorry on behalf of the team.

Any ideas on if the team is planning offline/solo play at any point down the road?
Solo is already playable, even better supported in 1.0. (for instance, you can change the room player count limit at any point, allowing you to turn your game solo at any moment effectively).
There is currently no plan for offline, though.
More and more older games are pulling their servers for games that run perfectly fine on single player and don't want to support this type of practice.
