1. open game properties in steam library
2. in properties click on "set launch options.."
3. add this text "-screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080" (without the " ")
4.or the resolution of your monitor
Hope this help!
Thanks. But that was something I had already been trying. As you probably noticed yourself is that it only sets the correct resolution on the intro videos, and when you get to the main menu it resets to 1024x768. It seem rather pathetic that this happens. I have tried to hack the game through several of its files as well, but so far no dice. I would be extremely surprised to see the developer fix this though as this game seems to be just a pump and dump game to get some money out of the license.
Based on my previous answer, you wouldn't think I already did that right? :) I'm not sure you read my first post even.
Anyway, I'm using the old GTX 970.
i have the same problem, i using a Intel i7 9700k, GPU 2070 RTX & 16 gig of RAM.
Max resolution 1024x768...i hace looked alot of streams and the can play this game att 1440p ( i have 1440p screen)
If your graphic card and monitor support screen resolution higher than 1024×768, it is likely there is something wrong with the graphic card (corrupted, or incorrectly installed graphic drivers. We suggest you reinstall or update your graphic drivers. Another reason could be that the cable you are using to connect your monitor with your GPU doesn't support the resolutions you want...
I'm sorry, but these are just bad suggestions. If ANY of that would be true me and the other person would have the same issues with other games and outright with the OS resolution. But we don't, obviously.
Since my last post I've even reinstalled my OS on a new SSD, with all that comes with it (reinstalled Steam, the game and all of the drivers for all my hardware). But I STILL have the same issue.
Have you tried to reproduce the error using a GTX 970 perhaps?
I can see that it looks for my Native Default resolution in the registry keys, but I don't know where it get that value from really since none of my default resolution values are 1024x768 in the OS. For some reason the game just thinks that my highest resolution is that of 1024x768, and if I could just find out where it looks for that number I could probably change it.
It's just a mess.
We're sorry you are still having this issue, as we mentioned previously, we haven't been able to reproduce this issue trying the game in different devices... We are trying to figure out why it's happening in some cases, but the devs are asking if we can get any dxdiag reports, we have only been able to get one to send over so far, if you could please share yours with us it would help to spot the problem to try and fix it... If possible send it over to our support email: support@outrightgames.com . Sorry again for the inconvenience.😬
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out. I will try to get the dxdiag over to you during the day.
Are you able to answer if you are using cloud saves for the game? Or do you know where the saves are saved locally even? I want to be able to make sure I don't mess up my sons saves by messing with the game files. I can see that some variables are saved in the registry to track what is being unlocked in the game and what not, but I also want to know if there are any specific save files being used.

Hi! Dxdiag would help the devs as they are trying to figure this out...
Regarding the cloud save, this particular game doesn't have it, with Steam games, if you check them from your Steam library ( right click on the title>properties>general ) it shows if it's using cloud saves if it is, if it's not it won't include anything about it in this field...
The local save game is not in the usual Locallow route in the local disc folder, you will find it located in the Registry Editor: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\PHL Collective\Ben 10-2
Hope this helps :)
