Tips for playing Weaver and Clairvoyant?
As the title says. I find that In really struggle with these two Aspects and would very much appreciate some tips on playing them better as they to me, just feel very anemic in their damage output compared to the rest, taking forever to kill bosses.
I think it might just be that they're not as obvious to me as some others; The Magma Miner likes physical damage, easy, just stack that. The Godkeeper has inbuild multiplier for big hits. The Chainbreaker does both magic and physical damage so ges double benefits from Omni damage, things like that.
The Weaver and Clairvoyant doesn't grok for me.
Help?

Its funny, those are the only two aspects I find myself doing best while I struggle with others. I main clairvoyant, maybe not best advice as I still do diverse builds and do well so far (rank 10+) but one thing for sure, you want additional Psionic charges, +1 or +2 from a vestige or augments/ascension and pump up spirit bomb. I also enjoy hexing aura.

They both scale with +Willpower primarily, and benefit from dual-scaling on +phys and +mag alike.

On Weaver, you can use your glyphs to force the Jinx binding and use that as your primary damage payoff. Otherwise, try Frostfire and other combinations of Crit + DoTs while building most for Defense + additional Will and Cooldown Reduction.

Clair's two main build paths are Mega Psionic Bomb setups, or ignoring her 3rd ability entirely and stacking damage, crit, and Will generation to spam her 1st ability back-and-forth across her body. You can use this to generate all the shielding you'll need + wipe out the enemies. Try to save enough Glyphs to reroll for Astralkinetics on Abilty #1.

Weaver gets big benefits out of having some way to reduce CDs DURING their turn: Extra Orbs, Harmonizing Whistle (vestige), Stone pitch pipe (only marginally useful), Quicken (only useful when it's ready), Clips of Mitosis (trinket). One of it's best main-kit damage dealers is constrict, and with it's 1 CD, any CD reduction lets you use it again and again.

Weaver tends NOT to actually gain much benefit from pure +will increases, since their basic binding isn't very effective or useful without some specific epic augments/ascensions, and everything else is cheap enough and has cooldowns.

Weaver can boost their defense to extremes with certain options. The rare augment "Defensive Constrict" is 3 shield per use of constrict. With 1 orb and no cooldown reductions, you're using constrict 2/turn. That can go to 3, or even 4 with certain options during your run, so 6-12 bonus shield. If you can get a super strong defense going, you need only find 1 or 2 solid scaling options and then long fights favor you....things that scale up over the course of a fight, or scale up permanently with no limit work nicely.

You have a lot of options for drafted bindings with weaver, but in general, you'll want to grab one of these options: Nuke+defense, Nuke+booster (invigorate, afterimage), DoT+defense, Mobility and Support are useful too. Bindings like Cleave or Cone of Frost or Lightning Bolt USUALLY (yes they can all be good in certain builds) will give you less than other options.

Clips of Extraction + Orb Lord is a good strategy. Both characters have very low cooldowns for their abilities (because their main ability deals almost no damage), so you want to spam ability 2 and 3 as much as possible. More orbs mean more cooldown reductions.

As weaver, get the Grasp binding and get the envelop ascension. This helps you to pull enemies togther for stitch to deal massive damage to a group.

As Clairvoyant, I usally aim for Super Spirit Bomb. The extra damage is enough to kill most enemeies, even bigger ones.

Often yeah, but best way to scale pure dmg numbers w/Weaver is to force glyph re-rolls until you get Tether. Easy to hit 500-1k Omni numbers by spamming disconnects and Nukin' afterwards. The value of Will Generation changes too depending on how much on-turn CDR you can cycle through to cast multiple Constricts.
