Jet Ski Disappeared!!!

I used my new (expensive) jet ski one time. Drove it back to the land where my house is. Got off - hit it with the hammer so I could pick it up and there was a big splash and it vanished. It shows up on the map in a completely different spot on the map, but when I went to the spot where it indicates, there's nothing there. It doesn't indicate Jet Ski when I put my cursor on it either. I don't think I can go to a previous save because I think we only have the end of the day save available. I started a new day, and it's still gone. Anybody know how I can get it back?

i had the same thing happen to my row boat, but yesterday while playing i found it in the water where i initially lost it, look deep in the water, you may have to dive down

I did a bunch of deep dives... no luck. I'll keep checking back for it. I'm afraid to buy the chopper now. I REALLY don't want to lose three million!
