Stuck on Option screen :(

So I just played this game for 1-2,5 hours, exploring all the map, finding the fruits etc. I went back to the old lady. After she gave me the journal and skimming through the achievements I went to display option and got stuck there :(
I was mashing every buttons trying to get out there and I could hear my character doing something in the background like swimming. I got impatient and press alt+f4 just to found out I don't have any save :(

It this a bug or I just being stupid ?
but I thought autosave is common in this type of game :( ( or atleast give me an option to save manually anywhere please dev I think this game have so much potential :(

Can't really say if you triggered a bug or not. But the game only saves when you sleep.

Hey, I know you probably haven't touched Dinkum in a minute, but yes this is a bug. Just encountered this myself.

I was able to save, though, using dev commands (though I couldn't see).

I'm going to share the steps I took to move on to the next day (and save) below. Your post does come up when searching this issue, so hopefully this will help someone else.

Keep in mind, since you are stuck in the options screen, you will only have audio feedback as you go through these steps, as you'll be unable to see the chat window.

1. Hit Escape Twice (ensures you're on keyboard input)
2. Hit Enter (to open the chat window, again you won't see it)
3. Type: devCommandsOn
4. Hit Enter
5. Hit Enter again
6. Type: nextDay
7. Hit Enter

The bug will not be fixed in the next day, you'll have to reboot the game to fix that as far as I am aware, but at least your progress will be saved!
