Bugged sleeping from Amber chunk?

My wife was trying to sell an amber chunk to John and I talked to him right as she was selling. Now she's stuck with the drop symbol and cant interact with anything/sleep/etc. Is there any fix to that other than quitting and losing all progress made that day?

did you try with Verify Integrity of Files ?
in Steam Client, right click Dinkum, then Properties, then Local Files, then Verify ...

& in general
it's Early Access
which means, Treat with Care,
make from time to time a copy of your Dinkum folder
