ok, 1st bug) After awhile my hotbar stops working all together and I have to get out of the game and come back in, only problem is that I lose all that days unsaved progress if i do.
2nd bug:) I put a bedroll down in town, but it now thinks it's a container with stuff in it, cant use it to sleep, wont let me pick it up (says its not empty) so i put another bedroll down not far away, used it once and it bugged out in the same way... pretty soon the little living area i built will be covered in sleeping bags, lol
Anyhoo, really do love the game and to hear that just one guy is making this is so amazing!! Well done man, keep it up, you're doing great! and thank you! :)
OK so narrowed down some error messages that pop up with this crash: Session "Cloud Files Diagnostic Event Listener" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000022Session
then the critical error is 41 kernel power task category 63. I have tried doing a new game file and it is still crashing with this error. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I want to stream and love on this game but it just keeps crashing before I can make any progress. sigh
Been playing the game for a while now and found several glitches. Some glitches are minor whereas others are major game breaking glitches. I'll start simple and save the game breaking glitch for last.
Glitch One:
When the Pumpkins are transitioning into a new/ "out of season" season, the main pumpkin planted are seen dead as expected, whereas the offshoots of the pumpkin remain alive and continue to grow until ready to harvest.
Glitch Two
I’ve seen the report for this as well but when I upgraded to the highest upgrade to the house the player owns and then moved the house to a different location the furniture duplicated itself in unreachable areas. A reload of the game fixed this glitch.
Glitch Three
When trapping a glowing croc within the mines, the croc will try and excape from the cage as expected. However, when the player enters the mine shaft- drops the croc, and then proceeds to activate the lift; if the croc breaks out of the trap before the door closes, the croc and the cage will dissappear. However, if you exit the mine or re-enter the mine with another pass on the same day, the croc and the trap will be found outside of the mineshaft, inside the cave. To work past this, the croc will need to be captured right in front of the mineshaft- brought into the mineshaft immediately, dropped, and then the player needs to activate the mineshaft. If the croc breaks out of the cage, only AFTER the mineshaft had closed, the croc and the cage will dissappear just as before. However, the glowing croc will be found outside of the mineshaft with the cage on the surface. The croc can then be proceeded to be taken where ever the player wants.
Glitch Four
I didn’t take a picture of it at the time but I found a glitch where I would start falling the moment I left my house. I would fall for a short while before landing back into my house once again. This mistake would happen continuously until I exited to the main menu and reloaded the game.
Glitch Five
When trapping an animal which can break out of the trap, the player can count the number of clanks the animal is making before it breaks out. When the animal clanks five times, the player can release the animal and duplicate the animal. This is due to the game registering the animal being released but also registering the animal breaking out. As a result the animal is duplicated.
Glitch Six (GAME BREAKING)
This glitch took some time for me to figure out. When trapping an animal which can break out of the trap, if the player approaches the shipping area to send the trapped animal by balloon- the player can access a glitch which can trick the game into thinking that the animal was sent when it never was. Since the game thinks that the animal was shipped, the game will mail the player the reward money for the shipped animal- as well as a duplication of the trap being used. Which the player can then sell for additional money. A little over 4 thousand for each trap, and a reward of 12 thousand for the Bush Devil. This accumalates close to 20 thousand dinks (or gold) for everytime the glitch is completed. The best way to access this glitch is to pick up the trapped animal, approach the side of the shipping pen (Chances of success is greatly reduced on the open side of the pen) and allow the animal to break free while standing or running up against the pen. When the animal breaks free, the system will allet the player that the animal was shipped, when in reality is wasn’t. The glitch can then be repeated over and over again. My brother tried the glitch on his file but couldn’t repeat the glitch. The only difference was that my trap was near my house and city limits, whereas he was out in the wild. I don’t know if that has anything to do with it but he to was able to repeat the glitch when visiting my file. He made close to a million dinks in one go.
I have noticed that not all sides of the shipping pen works for the glitch. The area I found to be the most consistent is on the right side of the pen (Right side when facing the shipping pen, left side when facing away). I have nearly 100% success rate when using a specific area.
Edit: After some more analyzing of the glitch. I realized the glitch happens because of the drop animation for when the animal breaks out. If the player is positioned correctly, the drop animation will appear inside of the Shipping pen. If the drop animation does not happen inside the shipping pen, the glitch doesn't work.
If I find more glitches, I’ll do what I can to report on it.
