Relationships with crocodiles

Is there any way we can increase our romance (friendship) with crocodiles in the game? Something akin to Animal Crossing, but the crocodiles being less humanoid. They're always hyper aggressive.

You can't do it at the beginning of the game of the things you need (it takes a long time to get the items unless you are extraordinarily lucky).

Crocs in the game attack because they're angry and when you get close they bite you because they hate everything, in short, they're jerks.
Go to the Base Tent (actually it will be Town Hall by the time you're able to do this) and use the Crafting station. Look for the item called the Cooking Table, get it and take it back to your work area. Once you have the Cooking table setup, look for the dish called Garden Salad. This is what makes it take a while, because the salad has ingredients that you do not have access to yet, BUT sometimes NPCs might give you some of them as gifts in your mailbox if they like you enough.

Now you need to watch out for Rayne, the cute flower-shop girl, and grab the correct seeds you need for the salad when she has them. Now here's the second problem that makes this take a long time, every seed will only grow during specific seasons (except Sugar Cane and Wheat which grow all year). So once you got the correct seeds, planted them in the correct season, cared for & harvested them, and have everything you need for the salad, go to the Cooking table and make a Garden Salad.

Now it's croc time! Make sure the salad is in your hotbar so that your character can hold it in their hand. DO NOT ACCIDENTALLY EAT IT! When you are out exploring/working and you see a croc getting close, quickly hold the salad in your hand and turn towards the croc. When the croc sees the salad, they will stop being angry. They will be very happy and love that your delicious cheeks now also come with a side-dish and then eat you to death because they are crocodiles and that's what they do regardless of your perceived romance/friendship status.

just dont walk or swim next to them. they are pretty chill if you dont go near them while they are awake.
