Animals/ residents bridge interaction
Ok, so this may be a somewhat specific idea, but it was something I wanted to post about since I tried really hard to make something work only to find out it just doesn't. I really love the game, so I wanted to take some time to lay it out.

I wanted to make one big fenced area where I can keep all my animals. Since this is a lot of space, I wanted to make some way to cross through it for residents that don't live too far away. So I thought about just building a bridge over some part of the fenced area.

Now I come to find out that the animals for some reason are unable to move under the bridge.. They just walk into it like there's a wall there when you try to whistle them across.

So I thought: Ok, I'll just flip it around. Make a bridge in between the 2 fenced areas, and have a path go underneath. But my animals seem to also not be able to get onto a bridge, which I found weird since I see Roos cross the bridges into my town all the time.. Furthermore, I also found out the residents are not able to go underneath the bridge either.

To be clear btw, I tried this at multiple heights, maxing the bridge height out at 3 blocks, which I feel should be well tall enough for even the tallest animals to get under.

TL;DR: Is it possible to make animals and residents be able to interact with bridges in a more logical way (be able to go onto/underneath them)?

EDIT: I made a mistake in my post. I was able to make animals move across the bridge; I just needed to give it one extra tile in front of the bridge at the same height. Going underneath bridges is still impossible though.
