Repair Kit Durability

I bought the repair table a few in-game days ago and just bought the repair kit. The table is 60k and the repair kit is 30k. The repair kit is a one-time use BUT it doesn't repair everything! I had a torch that was just about to die so figured I might be able to fix it as well. Nope. For anything below iron tools the repair kit just isn't worth it! As it stands I kinda feel like I wasted my Dinks on the repair kit (and repair table) as it wasn't worth it.
However, I would propose a possible option. What if the repair kit had a durability on it and you had a repair skill? The lower your skill, the quicker the repair kit breaks. As your skill grows you become more efficient using the repair kit.

to be honest it becomes a needed and cheaper option late game.

Late game alpha weapons cost alot to make like the opals and 400,000 dinks. repairing them is way cheaper then breaking them and replacing them.

your torch needs a recharge station (it is electrical and you will get other electrical tools as well like a chainsaw, jack hammer, dirt printer and compactor )

mid game best to save all your near broken tools in a box and fix them all at once - this is real handy if you want to save your iron.

early game I recommend that you save everything you have for a gocha machine - mine spit out tools i don't need left and right.
