I know you can use the wheelbarrow to transport both. However that just takes away from sections of the island and makes things look like a mess.
You sometimes have a daily milestone to crack X number of ore stones. But the great big gray boulders don't count in that, even though they give ore. It would be nice to have them included in the count.
Can you make gates auto-open and close like doors do? Opening the gate isn't too bad but I had a devil of a time getting the gate closed again. Have decided I'll just jump over the fences!
1. Auto stash. There needs to be a button to automatically stash items to nearby containers with matching items. Right now I have to spend a lot of time every day sorting out my inventory before bed when most games have an auto stash button that deposits everything to existing stacks.
2. Sort button. No sort button for both inventory and containers makes organization very difficult.
3. Use nearby materials from containers for crafting. Right now I have to go to the crafting table, figure out what I need, then go dig through my containers. The crafting table should have access to everything in nearby containers. Same for cooking table, etc.

John giving an explanation for the weighing scale in his store for the first day he moves in would probably be good for guiding players too. Or even a tooltip to read when right/clicking the weighing scale. I found a beehive early on and didn't know what to do with it until I watched a streamer toss an amber/gold ball (?) into the scale by chance and thought to do the same. I understand that there's a poster above the scale indicating what it's for, but with the usual position you enter the store (with the door to the south), it's easy to overlook the poster.
