Dog kennel is placed, but Doggo is not taking it as shelter, journey is saying so. How exactly do you get the doggo to accept the dog house as shelter??

The size of the area that the dog is free to roam may result in the dog being too far away to be attracted to the kennel at the end of the day. If you let your dog have full range of your town, they may end up at the far side when night falls and they'll just sleep unsheltered.

Keeping your dog in a smaller area will ensure they're in range of the shelter's attraction radius. You can wake up your dog and have them follow you back to the kennel, then pet them to stay. That should get them to use the kennel.

I have two dogs with free reign over my town and about half the time they'll end up back at the kennels and half they'll be sleeping wherever when night falls.
