How to remove a rock in water?

Hi,
not sure if this is a bug, but:

I can't remove a rock tile that is within 1 or lower in the water level.
Neither drilling or putting dirt over it works.

Please give an option to remove such obstacles.

surround rock under water with dirt blocks (so a 3x3 if rock is 1 tile). pick a corner of the 3x3 and surround that with dirt blocks. then dig the chosen corner out so you can jump down and angle a pick towards the rock and hit it.

I know, it's only one dev, but please give us some basic "advanced" building tools to make things like this easier please.

It's difficult to find but the diving helmet will give you the ability to get to those rocks.
