No more green boards?

Has anyone else stopped finding green boards since the update? I used to find them at the same rate as shiny discs. Besides the satellite that fell for a quest, I haven't found any at all, but I'm finding the discs at the same frequency.

I don't remember there being a note that green boards are no longer in the pool for excavation items or that they had their drop rate reduced so I'm a little frustrated...

I think it's just your bad drop rate. I'm still getting them in barrels, crates, and single item digs. They're rare in the first place, compared to say, gears, but I haven't noticed a drop off and I know I got a bunch recently coming back to my town to charge my dirt printer. Gotta stop for that x in the sand right?

just RNG, which for me usually sucks anyway :P

If you have the Helicopter, go around the island every week or so and check for fallen satellites, which usually have 4 or 5 green boards as a drop.

i think it varies from map to map, i had maps with lack of bright wires, green boards, now button boards

you find most tech treasures along a river bank (look out for crocos)
or on lonesome islands
take one day off for the treasure hunt & you will find enough green boards
