Question about recycle bin

i have it for few days (in game ) and i get random stuff here and there, does it matter if and what i put of my own stuff inside? like how you guys use it? do you guys use it just like somthing to check out on daily basis or you guys put some stuff inside?

I just check it for anything useful. I have never put anything in there.

I never put anything in, but always take everything out on a Wednesday before John empties it. I obtained my chainsaw and jackhammer through the bin - important that you don't use found machinery at all though without charging it. On a previous save I also found a chainsaw, noticed the battery was low but figured I'd use it once to see how it works then wait until I get a charger - that first use broke the saw.

Dang some of you people. I never found anything as good as a chainsaw or alpha part. Best I got was a buff food. My bin is broken.

I just go dumpster diving and sell whatever I don't want.

Personally i only put clothing and furniture in there. just cause.
I did once have a rare gem or a rare animal drop in there.
