But i don't see, why you really need something like that, unless you want to speedrun it, in which case its propably still too young of a game to have an optimized strategy around it.
There is an "Aesthetic" trait in your status of the town which you can read in Fletch's tent on the counter near hear (Town Hall, don't think it is there in the Tent) but I do not know specifically what raises that score.
I like @Maya-Neko's ideas too with the teleporters. I have been contemplating a way to use them more efficiently.

My town has pretty much evolved over the time I have played. I have my town centralized on the island and then can teleport to each biome as needed. I use the Map markers to mark points of interest or danger zones. :P
