Question: Melvin never wants to move to town

I am down to the last visitor, Melvin. All of the other visitors decided to move to town after about a half a heart of friendship. But not Melvin. I have been focusing on building a friendship with him waiting for him to move to town and he is now at a full 5 hearts solid friend and still nothing.

Is this a bug or is there a limit to the number of buildings?

buy some of his stuff he has sitting on the floor. After a certain number of money spent on him he'll move in. I forget how much exactly but not much. Not the catalogue items though.

Ah! Thank you. I had little interest in furniture so never bought anything from him other than out of the catalog.

I had been worried that he was to just always live in the tent and visit every couple days until I FINALLY Filled up the first heart and then Viola' he asked to move in! So try purchasing and doing tasks for him and it should work. Now the Stylist is in the tent every other day. :P

Sally currently cannot move into the town as she has not been implemented yet as a proper resident

Aha! Thank you. I was just coming here to ask that exact question as she isnt moving in and I have had so many haircuts now I lost count.
