What tools i can use in the mine?

Hello,

as far as i experienced in the mines only Weapons, light, food and a pickaxe are usefull.
But maybe a shovel or metal detector too?

I can't remember if using metal detector yielded me anything to dig up but I do know that there's stuff down there like old cars and boxes that have the same items in them that you dig up on the surface. Haven't tried it in a very long time so I don't remember if there's anything buried for you to dig.

You cannot dig in the mines. There are no fish in the mines. So don't bring the fishing rod or a shovel, or metal detector.

I bring for tools:
-flame bat
-battle shovel
-jackhammer
-iron spear (backup tool)
-iron pickaxe (backup tool)
- flashlight/torch

Why you call the Pickaxe a backup tool? Is it not the Main Reason to go down, ores?
The Rest i understud.
My Main Weapon is the Spear. Are the Hammer and Sword Realy so good?

Another Question do the Bow loose durability and must i buy multiple arrows, or is the Arrow a Durability item too?

Later on, you will get the jackhammer from franklin, and not really need an pick axe at all. But i always take one with me, as back up just in case :)

Ah yes, i forgot that. I dont craft it for the reason that i have not all stuff and wish to craft before the Power Station.

Jackhammer is crazy fast at breaking ore and punching though the rock walls of the mine. It's way better than the pickaxe. But I like to bring a backup just in case.

The battle shovel is the best weapon as it has some range, excellent damage, hits fast, and stuns on headshots.

Flamebat doesn't have a stamina hit if you only hit organics, like bats. Also serves as a flashlight.

Arrows are one shot one use. I think the bow has durability just like the slingshot. Imo, it's not worth it to buy the bow

I have like 8 battle shovels and I swap them as they get damaged. I have an entire chest of things to repair. Such a good weapon.

Also, arrows are really hard to make as feathers are super rare. I've killed so many birds, oh so many, and never got a feather drop. You need two feathers for every 4 arrows. I just stick with the slingshot as rocks are easy to find and practice is cheap.
