Any tips at catching any bugs besides butterflies?

I'm having a lot os problem at finding bugs like spiders, beetles, etc because they don't spawn, I only see butterflies and the ones that fly around. I've been spending whole days trying to find them and I see nothing.

Furthermore, they are worthless on the shop, and I think they are one million times harder to find than Marlin (worth of 20k). lol

if it comes to Dinks bugs are not a good income source. it's a good activity only if you like to catch them, if that's one of your prefered ways to play Dinkum.
atm io to make things respawn in the world you should go after sleep/saving to the main menu & reload.
at the museum after you caught 45 species of fish & bugs you get access next to a Fish Book also to a Bug Book, it helps to localize bugs & shows you in advance what's worth in Dinks.

I mean, I know how to locate them, thing is they don't spawn at all. I'm currently looking for the Centipede (everywhere at night, all seasons) and I see not even one lol, 5th night in a row looking for it.

Nevermind, I just bought the book of bugs and it's crazy OP, got all the bugs I was looking except the ladybug, I cannot find one even with the book lol

Finding land bugs without the book is crazy hard.
Finding them with the book is crazy easy.

but i play this game not to get the rewards, i play it for the atmosphere
