i have all ready the store the musum and the main tent people are coming to vistor tent but when they do i cant ask them to move to the island even if i have a whole heart with them what am i doing wrong and my town has no debt

I just posted a response to this, if it's correct Im not sure. It worked for me.

I asked about my home and then i got a deed for building my house,
after i build my house upgrade, a new permanent visitor was able to put a deed in for building

You need to spend money with each person to get them to stay, i only had half a heart with most of my residents but id spent alot so i have them all now

The key is to wipe out the town debt after each building is put in. The old lady tells you you cannot do more deeds until the loan is paid off because it would be unwise to add to the debt. I think i did the workshop, then the museum, then my house, then the plant lady, the mine, and then Fletch offered me a bank. After the bank it counted 5 so now she finally said i can do the town hall.

I have spent heaps in everyone's tent that has visited and have over 800000 in the bank vault and yet still the only people that have stayed are banker, museum, general store. and If you ask any of them what they want 9/10 times everyone just wants to sell you clothing rarely anything else.

Irwin i just spent $30000 on a chicken and animal feed and nothing. He still hasn't stayed.
I don't get the percents for the town either.

As for watering i've only noticed them a few times watering, even with the crops right next to the heart of the town and they only do a few plots then stop.

Lastly even the original 2 are still at 2.25 heart no matter what

are you asking them if they need anything? you have to do jobs for them and chat them up daily
