Watering plants
Is there any faster way than watering the tiles one at a time manually?
It is starting to drive me nuts.

I am also trying to recruit John to help me but when I ask if he wants to hang out he says "No, you have fun with John"... :/

The community will all help you water your plants, You need to have your crops relatively close to the residents, but most importantly, you need to have gate if your crops are fenced off. NPC's will not jump fences to water crops, you have to give them access. As you upgrade your farming skills, you will have access to bronze then iron watering cans, which water more at a time, but ulitmate goal is the sprinklers.. keep some old gears and old springs handy for those, as they take a few of them each.

except it's sporatic. i had a whole crop of onions go off after i forget to water them for 1 day. yet in another playthrough the elder chick was watering but no indication it was actually changing the ground wetness
