You can find copper and iron ore in the deep mine, but that's not something I would recommend early on in the game.
Quarries are another option, as Borgessa mentioned, once you can build them.
Tin, Copper and Iron ore (re-)spawns plentiful in the outside world, you just need to raise your skill up and give it some time.
For now, just mine up all the rocks and tin you can find, rocks will be the cheapest on your wallet and stamina. :)
