Dinkum
Demo doesn't appear to have a cloud save. Can't transfer game to full version.
I've checked and the demo isn't saving to the cloud, but game says it's saving.
I purchased the full version, but can't load save file from demo (on steam deck). Am I missing something? I'm pretty new to steam.

From the FAQ -

Q: If I buy the full game, can I continue from my demo save?
A: Yes! You can continue your progress by loading your demo save file in the full game. Just make sure to install the full game after purchase.

However, in the following cases, your saved data may not be retained.
If Steam Cloud is not enabled, or if your save file is stored only on your PC (local device) and you uninstall Dinkum from your Steam library, the save file will be deleted.
If there is no save file left on Steam Cloud or your PC (local device), you will not be able to continue your previous progress even after repurchasing Dinkum.
You can check whether Steam Cloud is enabled by following the path below:
Steam Library → Dinkum → Manage → Properties → General tab

You are right, demo is broken, at least in some cases, you need to copy saves manually https://dinkum.fandom.com/wiki/Backup_and_Restore_Save_Files#Steam_Deck
Maybe it depend on OS, because I had same problem on linux.
