At the beggining I'd suggest to focus on getting the villagers deeds by getting hearts with them and spend some money on their things. Frank in special is very important.
Don't wait for any one visitor; just help them all as they show up and make their businesses as they request them. And once you can afford it, get that metal detector. Finding buried items can really boost your income in the early game.
Place campfires in a single underwater tile. That prevents you from lighting yourself on fire when cooking. You don't need a BBQ, it's just a luxury
i never got out burnt food, they just good to go if they drop out

Just be on multiplayer open for friends and ill join you :) ill bring you some nice stuff aswell, just be carefull when open your multiplayer for everyone to join, there might be griefers and ppl that steal from your stuff!
