Birthday Gifts?
I recently bought the Game and it is mostly self explained. But on Birthdays (currently i have only John and Theodore) i can say Happy Birthday to the People and then select something to give, which i do not have. It also does not tell me what they want, so i do not know what i can give to them. I could also find no wiki or guide about it. After i wished Theodore a Happy Birthday and canceled the gift i got a Task, but it has nothing in it, it just say "give Theodore", nothing more. So what i am supossed to do? Guessing until i randomly have the right thing in my inventory?

Birthdays are currently bugged. Normally, if it's a "real" Birthday then you'll be able to say Happy Birthday and give them anything as a gift (I usually just give them their favorite food). If it's a fake Birthday they'll ask for something specific (without telling you what it is), and in my experience if you complete the task they'll take all of your money for no reason, so you don't want to complete those.

You can also check on the Bulletin Board once you build it. There should be a calendar tab that shows if it really is someone's Birthday or not after you get them to a certain heart level.

yes, the birthdays are atm bugged. i always check the Bulletin Board if someone has a birthday & then gift that NPC, in most cases as @Synavix their favourite food. from there all other quests normalize. i don't even attempt anymore to ask anybody else before the birthday NPC when there is a birthday going on, cause it will be bugged.

I am in my first Summer. I have the Shop Keeper (John i think) and Theodore, both had their Birthday in the Calendar and i could say Happy Birthday but not give them anything. I always have different Foods on me in case they ask for it in the normal NPC Quests, but they would not accept anything or ask for anything despite it was their Birthday marked in the Calendar. But if they are bugged i will ignore them for now, until there is a patch for that. Thx for your answers.

LOL i have got this with John and Theo right now. They just ask me for something and i don't have it. I was check their birthday for twice but its not, and then when i ask them again they just give me a deal with axactly what they ask me for the birthday before.
Yes i have bad grammar. Anyway, good to know some1 have the same problem with me <3
