Cant find perals?

Hey all i haven't played this game in a while i just got back into it. i want to make my own water feature but i need pearls. I cant see to find then anywhere been running around my shores for ages. are the a season thing? thanks

they are not a seasonal thing, they are always there unless you destroy them inadvertently they aren't always by the shore, mostly in the middle of the ocean, if you have a heli you can see them shining and mark on map. a diving helmet is also very useful in gathering pearls

Pearls are found in clams. They aren't just sitting in the water alone.

Relatively few are near the shoreline. I have four characters and the majority of pearls across four maps are off in the ocean. You can take a jet ski and just wander around looking for clams.

Just swim between the islands keeping your eyes downwards and you will see them

Its amazing once you find one and know what your looking for they seem to be everywhere :)

Yeah since posting this i have quite a few now and been marking the ones i do find as i hear the respawn after time
