Play now, or wait till full release?
Hey guys, I just got this game from the sale. I really want to play. I've watched a ton of YouTube videos so I know the basics. You think I should wait till full release before I start a big campaign?

Thanks guys.

There's no reason you can't start now.

Also this guide may help you more than some of the videos:

most of the new release items MAY be later game items so i would get a start now :)
I would wait (well, only about 2 weeks), maybe they change the introduction - make a better starting area - have more settings (I want a FOV slider and want to re-map all the keys for example1-9) - have more body types and I hope facial hair from the start ... and so on.
No reason to not start now.
Older Saves were always compatible with newer updates.

Dont wait. The beginning it quite slow and you will need the time to progress unless you play 24/7 :D

I would wait, there will be some changes ... so, for example if you want to start in the new creative mode? We don't know, if you can switch in a running game the mode to creative ... and it is in only 12 days?

The changes to mechanics appear to be multiplayer permissions, which has been long requested. The rest looks like more content. Like the fixed wing water plane and bug house. Although true creative mode is lacking in details, if someone wants to play the regular mode, there doesn't seem to be a reason to wait.

I'm hoping that NPC development and their storylines get more content. That's IMO the big missing piece of the game.

I hope also for some QoL features (without using 3rd party mods on nexus) which are standard in 2025, not only content:

1. A good FOV slider, which you can bind to the mouse wheel like in every good game, and not that the mouse wheel scrolls unchangeable through the quick bar.
2. The Re-bind-possibilty of ALL keys, for example also the 1-9 buttons.
3. Craft from all chests.
4. Adjust day lenght.
5. A real pausing function in single player (not only in settings) but as soon as you are in inventory or in other menus.
6. Bigger house interior with more floors and an outdoor balcony to look at your town.
7. Better highres textures, character models and standard facial things like beards.
... and many, many more ;)

Thats your opinion and its fine. I dont know why people would start a game and jump straight into creative but to each their own :)

Yes, thx. As I wrote: "without using 3rd party mods on nexus" ... I don't want after every update wait on the mod maker to update his mod or not and so on ...

Best solution: Add the features direct in the game - if a amateur mod maker can do this, the dev of the game should also succeed ;)

Don't play until the KRAFTON EULA is fixed.

I did that and it only caused the neighbors to noise complain about me.
