If they start a new character and get to the point of unlocking multiplayer then they can invite you to it. Then you all simply gather the easy resources and save before leaving so you can bring them back to your main save.
The Deep Mine...I've seen that mentioned but am not sure how I do that. Just buy the next level mining license? Also, thank you for reminding me I can buy it from John! I've got all this money from endlessly searching for copper and picking up and selling everything else and I forgot he has copper for sale right there!
You're a lifesaver!
The deep mine has copper too, but it's hard to spot the difference between the 3 ores if viewed from a distance, and in addition only around 33% of the ores will be copper, so it kind of feels like it's rare/non-existent at times. Spending a few hours in the mines you should be able to find 40-50 copper. Hours as in in-game hours. Real-time would be maybe 10-12 minutes to mine 40-50 of copper, alongside 40-50 of the other 2 ores, each. Just bring a spear for the bats, they're very annoying. Also bring some food for healing, like cooked apples or limes. Also, it's highly recommended to eat fried eggs or other foods that boost your stamina bar.
Thank you, your post is encouraging. I guess I'll have to keep levelling up in both mining and hunting. So far I've only been hunting when the daily tasks requires it. Also I read you should go into the mines with at least copper spears which isn't available to me yet. I'll learn to be more patient with the game :)
That other poster is correct though, smashing large boulders will often drop random ores too.
You get the Deep Mine deed after the following licences:
Mining Licence Level 1
Mining Licence Level 2
Deep Mining Licence Level 1
Once you build it you need to buy a mine pass for 25.000 on Johns for each try (or use one of the mods on nexus to make it one for all)
Here some spoilers so be warned:
Deep Mine is a randomize dungeon that have very large chunks of ores, monsters and some closed spaces that needs you to use 2 old keys for each chamber. These Chambers have exclusive wooden chests that contain itens such as Mighty Seeds, Dog collars, Mu saddle, paints and level 3 weapon you can use even without having it's licence (I'm a level 2 licence and use the level 3 I get from mines). Iron Pickaxe and miner hats with their own light are also in these wooden chests. It also has the bat statue that need 20 batwings (rare drop) to give you a bat glider. Also all the walls are destroyable and give 1 stone each so it's not only impossible to be stuck but also ample suply of stones. The Deep Mines reset each time you go down so it's never the same dungeon and never out of resorces
I'd recomend to get franklin to make you the eletric pickaxe as soon as you can to make it easier to mine down there faster too.
