How to use the queen bee to start a hive?

Found one, wanna know what to do with it. Infinite honey sounds great ngl.

You need to unlock the recipe for the beehive first. It needs a queen bee.

I don't know if that's in the game at this time but I caught one and am holding onto it too because it sounds like it would be used later.

You can make the beehive once you unlock it so it's already in the game. Just keep the queen until you can make it :)

I think I got the beehive recipe when I hit level 10 in bug catching.

I just got it after I finished the day, but it was level 10 in bug catching that I leveled up.
Sorry, this game is still a little confusing I am going to edit the old post, but it would be nice if someone could confirm if this is always the case or a random thing.
