Fish usually sell for 800-1800 currency, so a day's fishing can easily net you 30-40k plus.

So far I've been saving everything I get from metal detecting since a good bit of those resources are used in crafting.

level up the Metal detecting to lv2 then you can see hidden things are marked "X" on the ground without using the metal detector... a very easy way to get rich lol

As a hoarder, I find fishing is the only effective way to make money.

I'm not sure when I might need the stuff from metal detecting, so I stash it all in a chest. I now have a chest full of weird old objects that I have no idea if they will ever be useful or not.

Fish I cannot put in a chest, so I have to sell :).

Get the second level of treasure hunting it gives you a little x so no need for the metal detector. I run around the beaches Ive hit over 300k in a "day"

People saying no need for a metal detector must not know that you still find unmarked stuff that is buried. So even when you upgrade bring the metal detector.

Early on I would collect as many shells from the beach and sell them to John, made a decent amount of money. Metal detectors also a good way to earn money.

I use the metal detector early on and sell everything but the engine looking thing, and keys. Everything else you can collect easy later on.. My pathing is usually Logging + Mining + Hunting (for the hammer) - > Then go right into Excavation and Metal Detecting.


You can easily start off with around 1500 if you simply clear up all the shells and fruits before placing any buildings. While doing this use the mini map to mark any notable locations you want to mine at, also any good possible base camp locations.

Metal detector is the easiest way. Just sell everything you find (except CDs, keep them for Franklin) and you'll be rich. I'm making 200k a day spending only a couple of minutes for this activity.

My town is right next to a small pond that spawns between 3-6 crocs. First thing every morning I lure all of them to my traps and send them off for 9.6k each. If there is a notice on the board they are worth 20k each.
Other than that I sell the bugs or fish nobody wants for hearts and make another 30-40k.
I make around 90k a day without even trying .

best way to make money is fish during the night during autumn and bring lots of food to eat.

you can cast about 15 times before passing out so just eat before it gets to low and use a row boat or a jet ski to travel around. barracuda sell for 16000 each and yellow fen sells for 24k and if your lucky a villager will buy your yellow fen for 70k.

over all you can make about 700k in one night

also mark your map with pearl locations they sell for 5k each and they stack
