Palm wood
I can't find any palm wood. So I can't progress any further.

Thanks for the link. "Light green areas on the map" --> there are palm trees.

I finally found some on some higher land. And by accidentally hitting the Z key and changing the camera view, I realized that I could look out to the horizon and see more palms in the distance.

Thank you for asking this question! I couldn't find palm tree's for a while there until this solution.

Be careful, though, because the palm tree areas are also where the Wary Mu's live, and they will attack you if you get too close to them or their nests.
