I thought the 'just resting my eyes' option would be a sort of mid-day save, but it's not. That, combined with the inability to pause the game even in settings and even in single player makes this game really bad for interruptions. I like to go to the bathroom or stop the cat from knocking over my monitor for attention without having to finish the day and exit the game first.
Do game devs expect us to glue our butt on our chair the whole time playing their game ? Is it really that hard to add a pause in a game, I notice some games also don't have pause such as Astroneer, Valheim (can with mod, so it's actually doable to add pause even to a MP game played as SP)
But yeah time doesn't cause many problems yet, maybe later when shops close different times etc... sleeping is good for save and to reset health/stam
Some games do it as an addition to it's realism.
Personally, I'd rather the ability to pause the game/time than energy only being consumed as you use tools.
Some kind of pause needs to happen in single player.
Its just you have lots of other stuffs to do or bell rings or whatever and if you then lose time it sucks....
