Dinkum
LadyBird BUGGED?
"The Ladybird can be found in the Pine Forest and Plains in the Morning in Spring" (RARE)

I'm going into my third spring, and I still haven't found this damn thing, I think the "rare" classification is incorrect, because even the highest classification ones I found in large quantities.

ANYONE ELSE HAS THIS PROBLEM?

Ladybird & Goliath Stick are super super rare. i played several different saves through several seasons & found both only once, that's how rare they are. Birdwing can be found more often. i found also Centipede more often, found even Queen Bee in the wild twice, Rhinoceros Beetle about as often as Birdwing. so i'd say the Dinkum Wiki categorization is off.

below my rarity estimation from just what i came across from not looking but stumbling upon by chance, looking with a book, hunting with book during Bug Comp, all of that through several saves :

Purple-Winged Mantis - not found yet, but didn't look so far, so can't say for sure

Ladybird - found only once by chance, hunted with a bug book during Bug Comp
Goliath Stick - found only once by chance, stumbled upon & looked up with BBook

Queen Bee - found only twice
Purple Azure Butterfly - found only 4 times
Lacewing - 5 times

Birdwing Butterfly - 6 times
Emperor Dragonfly
Trogid
Centipede
Rhinoceros Beetle

Hercules Moth - 8 times
Stag Beetle

Huntsman - 12 times

Meadow Katydid - some more often than 12 times
Peacock Spider
Bee
Largidae

You can be sure that I used the book every day of spring, during every morning.

You're sleeping in the pine forest the the night before and immediately start bug hunting with the book right? That's how I got the rare bugs like the Birdwing, ladybird, and goliath stick.

for the ladybird, plant alot of gum trees in the plains.................i have not found one in the pine forest since they started appearing on the trees. Once i planted the trees and went out first thing in the AM i had no trouble at all.
