berkonium in quarry

I hate the mine, so I have to rely on ores I find or get from my quarries. I did get some berkonium from a meteorite, but those are hard to come by. Will there be berkonium in quarries? I saw someone posted they had a huge number of quarries but couldn't tell if they meant that ore was obtained from them.

Probably not. Also have you tried the wish fountain? You can select the peaceful wish to make the mines far less stressful. I got nearly 40 berkonium in my last run down there with that selected.

Also, you can get some berkonium on the island reef.

I just finished my fountain, but wasn't sure what all the wishes entailed. Maybe I'll try the mine with the peaceful wish. I'll look at the reef more closely when I go again. Thank you for replying.

the mine will be unbelievable with the peaceful wish! the animals still fight each other though so be careful of crossfire!

The reef is was less key efficient as it's full of regular chests that don't have any berk. It's good for other things, but at 5 keys a chest, it's not a great first choice to mine berkonium.

I got 47 chests the last time with the silver watch, coffee, glider, and peaceful wish. I took home almost everything using the hand trolley

I enjoyed the peacefulness of the mines with my wish, but I just rambled around like a zombie and didn't find much. Got a lot of iron but no berkonium. On the island, are the reefs the colorful bits above and below the water? I looked around for a while but didn't find any chests. I think I'm too old (77) to be adventurous. I should just stick to gardening.

Judiron1 i am also elderly and love the game, don't give up! it requires lots of keys for both the undergrove (2nd level mine where berkonium is) and the coral reef. The shark statue give maps to chests on the island and there are up to 20 chests per trip (unless you save some from a previous trip). The statue is generally near the middle of the map (there are 2 of them placed on the island), i usually find one quite close to the center so that is where i start my search. The green and blue checks on the coral reef are where you find all the berkonium. the shiny bits in the water are just pearls and aquamarine that you break into shards with a spear, pickaxe or axe. A Heli is preferred for me when i go to the island although others like using a jetski. Crabpots are the best way to obtain keys....there is a machine from Jimmy that will help although it will only give you 1 or 2 a day so in my estimation it works better to use the dive helmet and go to the riverbeds and metal detect there.

I see I need pearls to make the wish fountain. I have not been fishing in the game. I guess I will have to venture out on the high seas. Can anyone give me a clue as to how to find pearls? Tia

Look for clams in the ocean. A number should be close to shore

they are everywhere and sparkle quite bright, if you have a jetski, or rowboat just wander the oceans and you will find many of them, beware of sharks and jelly's!

What do you mean by this? The animals in the mines don't attack you even if you hit them. How would the peaceful wish help?

You must have a glitch because the animals (especially the 'millions' of bats) attack in both mines. Using the peaceful wish is the only way I can tolerate going down there. But, if you try to kill one, game' s on and they will attack

Have you played recently? It sounds like you were using the peaceful miner mod which I recall hasn't been updated and isn't working. The unmodded game has aggressive animals that attack upon sight.

no the wish from the fountain for peaceful means the animals will only attack if y ou attack them!
