Unable to plant any grass seed on beach soil

I cant plant any type of grass seeds on beach soil, but works on dirt. Has it been always like this? I'm trying to construct a new island where i will move my house, but i cannot plant grass seeds.

no beach sand will not let grass of any kind be placed on it

You will need to dig up the sand and replace it with dirt, then you can grow grass seed on it. (It'll go faster if you have the compactor/dirt printer from Franklin.)

drop 1 dirt on top of the sand, then pick up the dirt again, the sand has turned into dirt. works with most of the tiles, changing one to another.

i keep falling threw the world im not able to play is anyone else having this problem since the update

Falling through/Clipping
The first time it happened I panicked, hit esc and restarted the day. The second time I fell until I bounced back into the world and kept playing. Same with the third, fourth and fifth times.

So this thread is about soil types and grass; if you guys want the dev to see your issue and help you resolve it, I recommend either using the search function to see if there is a recent thread with your issue or starting a new thread with a title something like 'falling through world -- unable to play'. Cheers.
