Does anyone know how to use the billy can kit? I have the license and crafted the station but it does nothing?

You can make apple jam, put 10 apples in it. Also works like kegs did before, put the bottle brush flowers in it and so on..

Just try to put different things in it, says it can make soup but I haven't figured that one out yet.

No luck. I tried the machine book and it doesn't suggest anything will make a soup. Plus, I've already made all of the jams. Maybe in a future update?

I used the machine manual there and you can use 4 of the fruits and the 2 flowers. No figs or cherries thou.
It's basically the Keg but faster and can make jam for now. No soup yet aparently
