Map is so small :(
Hopefully it will be bigger in the future, or with randomly generated temporary islands, for the exploration aspect of the game. :sunriserv:

It's okay if you feel it's small. I think it's big enough, specially when I get that letter of 'there is a mystery fish somewhere! better spend all day fishing!" URG...

For a Open World Game its to small. For a Game like this its big enough, compared to animals crossings minni islands.

I agree the island is PLENTY big enough. I hate open world games that are like "look how huge the world is!' and there's just nothing in them and nothing to do and you have to use warp points to get around so you never see any of it anyway.

I've from the old EverQuest days before POK was there and you had to actually take a boat or run across 10 zones or pay someone to port you where you wanted to go, and you spent 30 minutes just trying to get to a place. It sucked.

This island is just fine for me.

I'm old enough to have played dragonrealms from the 80-90's.... Text based. I had a arrow key map of about 300-400 arrow keys to go from town to town. Was a good 1000 keys to change continents.

Totally agree. Playing with my best friend, and every time I find myself at land's end, it wish it was larger. Feels small to me. As you suggested, or perhaps it would be nice to have an option for a larger size selection at startup... that seems like it would make most people here happy.

Normal I agree. But whats the deeper sense? You cant Explore new things in that game there only fauna and flora in the world above the mines. It needs not much Space for all the existing Trees, Flowers and animals.

What i would like is that the Developer change the World Generator. Now after we can Create Waterfalls i would like Maps with natural Waterfalls. I would too like different Map Types: Pangea (one Landmass with one Big Ocean in the Center or at the edges), Archipel, Continents, Standard, Vulkan (a Island with a Huge Vulkan in the Center), Highlands a map with a lot Plateaus, a lot lakes, few Rivers and no Ocean or only a Big Ocean on the edges.

curiously when you open your map and zoom out the entire area you see is playable space.
You can fill in the ocean map edge to map edge if you like.

After almost 1000 hours of play all i have been able to Terra form is a star fort that is about 500 x 500 tiles and it isn't even that big on the map.
Currently making another mega structure that will be three times bigger and that is only taking up a small spot on the bottom left of the ocean.

So I guess we all have our own idea of what small means, and that is ok too.

So for temporary, randomly generated islands you could have items/treasures & enemies that only spawn on those islands, that would add to the exploration I guess... Searching for buried treasures and whatnot. Kinda like caves, but in the open air.

And the other thing could be like a ginger island from SDV. Where you can also have a base and everything is just different, like a different climate or so.

When you think about it, there are so many possibilities to expand the game even further. And because we already have a solid foundation, that shouldn't be too hard to implement in the future.

If the map was 50% bigger or twice as big it do not mean that the mystery fish you talking about or that ruff stuff whatever it is should be harder to track dude, maybe you just didn`t look at the right place.

I know what your saying by open worlds game dude but that is not what we talking about here where a map twice as big as it is now is far away from the size of open world game map size and by that i can`t understand why it should bother you when people ask for a bigger map !
