What do saddled Mu eat?
Now that saddled Mu act like farm animals, mine isn't eating the animal food. Ideas?

to clarify: after an entire day of being angry at the game for not explaining anything (on top of having to buy a 15k manual just to find out what goes in the billy can), the solution is to take a singe quandong and drop it physically on the ground. no feeders required. you house the mu in a large animal shelter. owning a mu also gives you a hotkey in the upper right corner of your screen which will call the mu to you instead of you having to own and hold an item to call it to you.

unfortunately, the mu does not have saddlebags.

It worked, at first. Now it isn't eating even when I drop in front of it. I tried other fruits too, just in case. Nope. I'm not going to sweat it. I'll try to feed it. Thankfully, it isn't cruelty to pixels.

The wombats will eat tufts of grass if there are any in their enclosure. Maybe the Mu's are doing the same... Do you have a fruit tree in it's enclosure?

There is an item in the new deep mine that will call your saddled Mu to you. I went a good distance away from where I have my Mu's fenced enclosure and used it and it spawned right in front of me. That was pretty handy.

was you able to pet it?

Yes, pet it ok. Sometimes tricky but works better from the head. He did eat again, maybe because I closed and reopened the game.

I think time of day might have something to do with it. Before I got a silo if I forgot to feed my animals early in the day, and went to feed them in the evening instead, they would not eat the feed until morning. So maybe you are trying to feed it, too early, or too late in the day.

oh, okay. that makes sense, but also now it's confusing because there are now two ways to whistle and they do different things lol

no, i got this bug also. it might be because it's from a save where the saddled mu was there at the start but before the update. you will have to reload the game a day after the first feed, and then it will eat as normal without anything weird happening.
