Fletch wont return home

I was metal detecting and fletch was on the opposite island from mine i ignored it at first but the next day she wasnt there. I checked the island she was on and she was there except she wont come back to my side of the island. I recently moved the base tent right next to the museum and theres a little crack to move in since i was going to move the museum also. fletch needs to come back.

im having this exact problem right now I thought she was going through a existential crisis; I would see her in sea, middle of a nearby tropics, but now I cant find her and I eagerly await her return so I can move the museum to put tile underneath it.
