Draw Distance and Map Size

G'day. :)

Does anyone know if it's possible to greatly increase the draw-distance and map size in game without modding? Game looks great. But, both are too small for me.

question :

what do you intend to do with a bigger map ?

most islands i've seen are urbanized around a tiny area of the town, the rest is wilderness, my towns tend to be more or less that way as well, it takes time to landscape the current size of the map, so ... why bigger ?
