Is it really worth to upgrade any Tools to the 【Improved】 version?

For each of the improved tool we need 50 Berkonium Ore,yet ive paid my attention to find that i spent half hour in the undergrove to collect 10 ore with mod like "limitless time"and "treasure tracker",im not sure if anyone have upgrade their tools without any mod.
Besides, the only advantage of an improved tool is simply wont break?

For dirt printer it will print 200 dirt tiles (the regular one will print 100)

I am not sure what the other tools give as an advantage

It is worth it to upgrade your tools, for example it takes less swings with a iron ax to break a rock than it does with a tin ore, the iron ore spear is sharper and more deadly than the tin ore, you catch bigger better fish with the iron fishing poll as opposed to the wooden one.

You don't always have to go out in the world to collect ore if you install multiple quarries in your game, they produce ore resource's daily along with treasure barrel's sometimes. Also there is a kit you can buy to use on the crafting table that will repair all of your tools at once that are in your backpack, I have duplicates of every tool, a storage crate full of them, I use them down to the point of almost breaking and then I get the kit and repair them all at once.

im just talking about tools with power,ive just spend too much time underground for my improved power tools,and I cant feel any advantage with the upgrad.......

I don't see the point. IMO it's better off using the berkonium for the band saw and blast furnace.

i'm just really careful with the charge on my regular jackhammer and chain saw, never an issue i could see the benefit of the dirt printer but the compactor is pretty durable

I have collected so far 90 "green wooden chest" (7-10 chests per underground entrance), I collected only 84 berkonium ore.
You don't feel any benefit from the upgrade, because maybe you don't use these better tools much ?
