thinking about getting this for my 12 year old daughter and i to play together, how is this game with kids, they like it usually or is it a decievingly complicated game etc?

GREAT for kids (and adults) and it's the perfect game to play together, pretty straightforward game, just takes a small learning curve in the beginning, recommend watching some you-tube vids of it.

Hi i just have 8 hours and i am a 43 y.o. player but can say that is excellent game but you need to learn how it works ... i am thinking to gift for my 14 y.o. daughter too.
So i think will be a good game to gift.

it is kids friendly game
some few 'monster' fights might be a little difficult to master but still playable

i bought it for my daughter who is 10 and i played for 15 hours alone to stomp the learning curve. there isn't really a tutorial. but its simple enough. it gives me a decent surprise every once in awhile. and is pretty detailed.

I play it with my 7 yr old son, we like it really much. There are some flaws but i think this game may become a great one if it keeps growing and selling good.

I play with my 9 and 11 year old kids and they have zero issues. Its been a great family experience to have together!

It's fine for kids, imo. The only downside is the slight grindiness the more you play it, which may not appeal to younger children with shorter attention spans.

I'm pretty sure she will love this then. It's a good family game imho.
