Do resources respawn?
If so how long does it take for stuff like ores and wildlife to come back? I ask because I decimated an entire species in one of the biomes and wonder if they will come back soon?

They do, very slow rates. Don't know the exact timing on this.

I highly advise killing every crocodile and dog you see. They seem to kill off all the other animals making for dead maps after a couple days.

As soon as I got hold of myself a spear I try to kill Crocs and Dingo's whenever I can. I'm still very early game so I'm not sure what to do to create farms to raise animals just yet. Plus RNG got me bad I got set up in a very small location. I only hope that there is something similar to Animal Crossing where you can raise/lower the ground to create more landmass to create more building ect.

I'm actually curious can you farm Dingo's, Emu's, Crocs and potentially Sharks if you can create a deep enough aquarium in the ground for them?

Very very slow rate of respawn. It feels like wildlife will respawn per day or per 2 days, you just got to go to their spawns areas. I've yet to have a problem with finding any animal.

The biggest issue is the ore respawn rates, especially if you are playing Co-op with a friend(s) because there is simply just not enough ore in the world (copper) to meet the demand of the players playing. Solo is just fine however, it can get a little tight at times, but you can normally get 2 bars of ore a day.
