Photos for reward

I have a bulletin board, which is great. But a few times already I had a mission to take a photo of Alpha AND a regular animal (for example the devil). So, off I went, walked for miles and miles, found 3 or 4 places where devil lives. Took bunch of photos of all of them, separate one as well and it never approved it! Where do I find the alpha animal if one is not wanted to be killed and not marked on the map? And how do you deal with those kind of photo missions when two different types are needed? Thanks.

Hmm, It wasn't for the animals, only when I had to take a photo of the view in a specific location. Maybe something was wrong.

Its not bugged. You must have done it wrong then. Also why dont you check your joiurnal after the photo is taken and see if theres a checkmark (proper photo).
Alphas are, you guess right, not the normal ones. Alphas are the ones you get from the bulletin board, requested to kill.

Yeah, I did that, it wasn't checked. And I wasnt meant to kill alpha, just take his photo, and he wasnt marked on the map, thats why I was asking for a tip.

From my experience, alpha animals only appear when you get board requests that say something like "Alpha Bush Devil" or "Alpha Croc." It seems those would be the only times you'd get chances to take photos of one (anyone who knows this may not be the case, please feel free to correct me). So I think the technique to deal when getting photo requests for alphas is to have a few photos in store just in case the request pops up.

There are 2 types of photo requests. One is at a location and the other is of a certain thing or person. I have seen requests for something that likely will not even be available during the days the quest is active, bad luck.

And yes as Pangsy said, Alphas are only spawned when you accept a mission to go kill one. Having to take a picture of both an alpha AND another mob in the same photo is unfortunate. Id just ignore that one and move on. Ive never seen that specific request. I have, however, seen them ask for a picture of an object that only spawns under certain weather conditions, which never occurred during the photo quest timer.

I have the quest but nothing on the map. also seems to be that I as not the host of the game cannot take the quest because they only seem to show on the map if the person who host the game takes the quest. this happened three times now on the alpha hunt quest.

I have been taking photos of stuff hoping to have it on me when a quest for it comes up. Haven't had to use them yet but we will see if it works.

Pretentieux, it totally works to take photo's of things and save them, i do that all the time , the only time it doesn't work is if they want it taken at a specific location.
