Doggo companion question

So when you have a dog as your companion what shelter do they use and what do they eat?

Trying to find out myself, I know they eat raw meat but what is there shelter.

Having same issue so may be an early feature at this stage. Some people say there is a doggo shelter but the bp/item has never turned up for me.

I found a collar in the deep mines. Worked on dingo and followed me around attacking mobs with me. However I forgot about it and went fishing in the boat, time I got home I'd lost him somewhere. Has not come home yet, kinda sad.

The puppers don't function very well in my experience. You need to make them a pen to keep them in. My husband had one in our multiplayer world that went out in the water and wouldn't come to shore and eventually got eaten by a shark. You also don't get the collar back if they die.
