Dog Kennel

I have 3 Doggos but have only been able to buy 1 Dog Kennel, will they ever re-appear in Irwins store like on rotation with the Chook whistle?

I just purchased one at Irwins store and it was in the place of the whistle

I have since purchased a second kennel, so yes its random spawn which is nice, soon enough my doggos will all have a house.

Whats the deeper sense of the kennel? I hoped dogs that dont follow stay there but this kennel seems to do nothing.

The doggo will sleep in it at night time, rather than out in the open where they may be affected by weather. It gives Shelter.

How can I get Doggos as a pet? Tried to catch them with a trap but cannot pet them?

You need to walk up to a dingo and use a collar found in the mines on them.
