Ive gotten 15 gems in one mine run. And i like to hold onto them until jimmy is at the island.
Specifically, these crops pay on average 20% more than fairy bread, as measured by profit per crop plot per day.
- Summer = onion
- Autumn = cabbage
- Winter = carrot (Jimmy hates kale and pays only +15% rather than the usual +32.6%)
- Spring = potato
Like Biggles I run into the problem of more than enough money pretty fast. even with all the Franklyn gadgets I might desire. Then it's just decorating.
if you prefer a stressfree & easy way, then it's Fishing.
you level fast, you swim soon in good money & can move everybody in without problems.
in one fishing day you get easily on average 250T selling only to John. but especially now with the new option to cook fish you can stack it as either Saltwater or Freshwater fish & if you hold to it, you make a fortune either with Jimmy or Ted Selly.
if you prefer the stress route, then is Deep Mine surely the way with all the goodies & options there. now with the Bat Zapper even more convenient & varied as gameplay.
if you want to go the Farming route then it gets grindy. maybe there are the Fruit Trees one option, then planting Wheat all year long & making Bread, plus planting Sugar Cane all year long & combining with Big Chicken Eggs & Fruit Salat for Pavlova. Bread & Pavlova bring very good money if you're into Farming.
but Farming needs improvements, it's way too grindy & has too few options, same as Cooking.
Animal Farming, i am not convinced, cause it's way too complicated atm, you need a huge setup, lots of care & the yield is not that impressive. in short, it needs improvements as well.
if you're into Treasure Hunting, it's also a good way to make money.
though it would need an improvement as well.
another route to play for money might be the Hunting & especially Trapping if you're into it. it's not as lucrative or convenient as Fishing but it's still quite good & brings faster yield than Farming. set up Drop Off/Animal Collection Points where you trap animals, teleport nearby & you don't need to transport all the cages a long way.
the only thing i would like more of are Alpha animals, the quests to hunt those are too seldom.
& oc, you can combine those options to make money.
though Farming is, especially in the beginning first year or even two very grindy & doesn't allow for any other activity if you concentrate mainly on Farming & want to level as fast as possible. so i wouldn't advice to start off with Farming. if you want to make money fast, go with mainly Fishing. combine it with lots of Potatoes farming in Spring & you will level in Farming as well to a more convenient stand.
